Got a match that went overtime and the last based are ends to end so we keep back and forward for 1.5 to 2 hours !!
Both accounts (CCIEsX4 and CloverTheGamer) collecting a lot of kills (almost 100) and >15,000 XP.
It was a blast, the best part of Gnome Bomb.

Anyway, normally I find overtime fine for gnome bomb. But, in portal it bugs me since the star payout is the same for a 5 minute match and a 30 minute one. (At 5455 exp is worthless and coins are the same in all modes) It also normally isn't much of an issue but, this match up favors plants so when the skill is on the zombie team it tends to last longer.
On team switching, I find it required in GW1. Plants have a considerably easier time doing challenges than zombies do, making zombies lag behind. To keep doing challenges I have to occasionally stick to the zombies team. GW2 on the other hand doesn't really have an excuse. If somehow the exp between teams does become disbalanced there is AI matches to make up for it. (Plus with 5455 levels vs. 313 there is a really long time to balance the exp. In GW1 zombies can fall behind by 5-10 levels really quickly.) In both cases, once a player hits maxed rank there is no real reason for it anymore.
Finally, on TF2. I really wish they would take a page from TF2. This game could bring them money for years if they were smart about it. New cosmetics and levels would keep people coming back, just don't make things paid only and everyone will be happy. There is no need to make a new game every year or few years. (madden...) The graphics are cartoony and therefore hold up well over time. It is much faster and more efficient to improve on a game that exists than to start over. Plus, both PC and modern consoles have plenty of capacity to add on to. (Could triple the game's size and the console wouldn't even flinch.) It just seems so sad... GW1 and GW2 could be so, so much more... I blame EA personally but who knows, maybe Popcap made this call. I am more than happy to play GW1 years after it came out. (Even more than GW2 at this point.) Seems like the continual update strategy would be perfect for this franchise... but I guess that's why they are game devs and I am at home playing a game.
