It never pops up, the gnome heads doesn’t show up

I'm having same issue. I've ahot at the button and even said where I did Damage. With the corn dude I can do damage. But noting pops up. He is the only character to do damage to it. I even tried being the cactus and flew the onion right in front Notta. The only gold gnome I need is this one.
Your post was 3 weeks ago any updates I think I have seen 2 events pass in this time and would have thought the patch would have gone out in the first event and now the second just started yesterday and still no change .... big game house like this sitting on small issues is sad .... you tell my 5 year old why he cant get the blue corn suit ....

There is a way to get golden gnome there even if the bug happends. All you need to do is have 2 accounts, one that you using and another that you have or create new one. Go to pvz bfn and go to mountain steep but with the second account. Then go to the place where the gnome is and shoot the button using second account, and the puzzle should work. I made it on Xbox one s and it worker. (If the gnome wont apear try with differend second account.
