  • The usable ones are Stock, Flame, Power, Stock, and Armor.

Hot Rod's also pretty popular, but you have to play smarter as he has less HP.

  • Howdy Golden,

I've seen some folks do crazy dmg as fire and power (I've been on the receiving end of those more than a couple of times).  As a Scientist I've also been a shot or so away from a kill when the hot rod takes off leaving me standing there starring at my beaker lol.

Here is my take, if you want to be annoying(er) as a chomper and just plan on burrowing in taking out a key guy and hope to make it away I would say the hot rod may be worth a try (or the armor but I didn't like him).  If your play style is do as much dmg as possible going in with a goop and then fire/power for max aoe dmg well the fire/power may be a better fit *note: I've noticed (for me) its harder to see the "chomp" box when using the fire esp and the power somewhat.  Also, the yeti is pretty fun to play however, out of all the games I've played which is a good bit. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been "frustrated" by a yeti chomper (not saying there not insanely good players with them I just don't see that many).

Hope the ramblings of a crazy person have helped a bit.

  • The hot rod Chomper has always been very popular and can work very well if you have gotten super sticky goop from the sticker packs. If you play it well you can get big streaks and really annoy the zombies.

The fire Chomper also works really well in close quarters with sticky goop as its spray can do massive damage to multiple targets. It's great for defending objectives and other things.

Yeti Chomper can work but it can be a bit difficult to use as its projectiles have a strange arc. It's good for killing AI zombies but you get more assists compared to kills in multiplayer game modes.

Also try using the Chomper class on the seeds of time gardens and graveyards map. I remember when I was new to GW2 there was a stealthy disco Chomper who stayed behind us the whole game and killed us constantly as we spawn via portals.
