Go collect all 54 golden gnomes. You'll get over 500k coins. Only took me an hour. Then you can buy all the characters.
Getting a random unlock doesnt hinder your gameplay at all.
You start the game with at least 1 of every playable class. The variants have advantages and disadvantages that balance fairly well, and should not make or break anyones game experience. They do have a game mode for people who want to argue that point.
I can understand wanting to pick up the variant of your choice for however many coins, but that also leads into FOTM * quickly.

- Let it be known that I am debating that the unlock system hinders *balance*. Now I know this is a casual shooter akin to Splatoon. So don't get too hyped when you pwn scrubs and children during a 10 kill vanquish streak.
What I'm debating is that the RNG unlock system makes the competitive online matches unbalanced. Which isn't stopping me from playing the game. It's a great game. Just making a point is allTo quote the title "Great Game, Terrible Unlock System" It's not terrible. It's perfectly fine. In your case, have fun abusing Rose.
I'm honestly having too much fun to complain about the RNG unlock system.
I'm missing 2 engineers now, not sure why the sticker shop likes to give me engineer sticker but I have them...I'm also buying the 35k packs because I like the cosmetic upgrades and having plants and zombie minions for other game modes is nice too.
The system may not be perfect but it's not terrible in the least. Every time I get another engineer sticker my friends laugh and I say you guys suck and we all laugh it off because seriously...by buddy is wearing 3 cats on his head and I have a fish on mine. I can understand if the unlock system could generate duplicate stickers but they don't (and if they do you should contact customer support).
The game came out last week.
I got electric citron last night and a fish hat for kernel corn which i think is an easter egg throw back to pilgrams and indians...I couldn't be happier.
Are you seeking a medal or some sort of award for your constant badgering on this forum.
Nothing wrong with the game in its current form (im talking core game, no class balance). You have just as much "luck" as the next guy to get an unlock.
If you don't like, don't play.
