Hearty decks are a bit overpowered

In the ladder, everyone either picks one of the 2 heroes-The smash and z-mech.

Neptuna(not yet released offer) and rustbolt are rarely seen.

one card which dominates the whole game is weed spray.

So....technically many people are running decks which dont contain guardian plants as often now,due to the fact of the uprising.

Do you think hearty decks are a bit op?

Honestly, not at all. I'd say if one of the zombie factions *could* be considered OP (and it's NOT) it's the Brainy faction. They have some of the best zombie cards and tricks, but even they aren't OP as far as I'm concerned. I feel comfortable playing against any heroes and any decks.

Hearty has some good cards, like all 10 factions (both P and Z), but not OP by any means. Weedspray is a good card. But nothing too scary. You just have to know when to play around it when facing a hearty zombie opponent. But it sucks against a lot of control plant decks too.

weed spray is only good against guardians, against anything else it is a pretty bad card. It is more often a deadweight card against the really good plant heroes right now (green shadow, chompzilla, solar flare). If you see solar flare and you drew this card you die a little inside. This card is exactly what it should be for the game build around  it. There aren't a lot of really good 2 dmg or less plants right now, I actually have a hard time seeing how it would turn the table at all besides on guardians. I can see wall knight being the only plant that has trouble with this card. Can you name some cards you play that this would affect?

I feel like I see The Smash 8 times out of 10 but I don't see a lot of Z-Mech. I get a lot of Immorticia too.

smash decks basically make me mad due to DESTROYING guardian plants with weed spray.

    1. Smash has the best healing out of all the zombies, and it has the strongest selection of gargantuars, this makes smash one of the strongest zombies, so no doubt you will see it often. The sports smash deck is super lackluster, I wouldn't play it.

    2. Immorticia is crazy good in beast, which happen to be a top tier zombie deck IMO. They have INSANE early game options such as cat lady, zookeeper, and yeti. Their mid game is kind of lackluster, but octo zombies in the late game is crazy. It also helps that immorticia's special triggers pet twice for ONLY ONE BRAIN (WTF!!!???). For example, at turn 2, it is possible to make a 9/4 cat lady, 6/4 cat lady, and a 2/1 bat (yeah, that's 17 dmg if you didn't draw any early game, and she did).

    3. that's why i don't play a lot of low damage plants on the guardian side. I would always take tough beets, but that's about it. I think the mushrooms are rather useless at this point unless you are playing a pineclone deck.

    4. guardians counter smash decks by having doomshrooms. DOOM!!!!!!

  • I agree that lots of people are playing the Smash. I see quite a lot of him, but I'm always glad because my Super Chomper deck has a pretty good matchup against it since I have lots of buffing and that counters it's removal.
