Help with saving progress

Hi anyone help? I am new at this so help this is tight place to ask -  it sure if I’m being idiot either- but ...

ive managed to get harmonica and get to the boss on 3 occasions but coz it takes me a while after I manage the first checkpoint I’ve needed to go so shut down as it’s supposed to save automatically/I think. But when I go back in the game I’m back at beginning and have to try all over again and it’s soooooo frustrating! Why can’t the game return me to my ruddy checkpoint? E try other game does!!!!!

can you please help am I doing something wrong??

    Hey @dragong1rl1969

    As far as I know, the game doesn't have a checkpoint save at the Boss when you shut down and don't complete the Story Mission.

    You will need to get the Harmonica again, and go back to the Boss and start all over.

    However, once you've beaten the Boss, you won't have to do it again unless you want to.
