the flame chomper
i kinda picked up on this a while back but thought nothing of it until he melted my all star like the op rose did back in the day.
best thing is this was the standard version non upgraded as soon as your gooped and the flame spray starts your screwed as soon as the goop effect has ended the burn damage has killed you
The fire chomper isn't op when the fire chomper can jump like the super brainz it will be op. How can the fire chomper get those campers hiding on roofs? why don't you complain about burrowing because that instantly vanquishes any zombie.
One thing I noticed about the new flame chomper is that his flame breath is not as effective against spawned zombies (like the casket zombie). In GW1 he could clear them out easily, but now it seems to take longer.
some roofs you can climb plus goop cannon is the answer for the campers. i brought up A variant not the class on gw1 he was fine reasonable but when you see 3-5 on a team the same variant it gets suspicious like the rose, electro brainz and shark bite abuse. 125 health understandable but 200 gone in seconds brings the question
and as for why don't you complain about burrowing because that instantly vanquishes any zombie bit. that be like you complaining about needing a power source for replying to this reply

The problem is Chompers no longer do direct damage to box and shield zombies. Their attacks hit the armor and not the zombie this time around, forcing them to burrow or chomp the armor, which is time consuming, yields no coins and leaves them vulnerable. Chomper weeds can stun the zombie and do direct damage, but it doesn't remove the armor and shield like it did in GW1.

If you manage to die to him as a all-star outside of being shallowed (which pretty much for every chomper), It pretty much come from either good play from the chomper or horrible play from you.
Also goop cannon is bad because you're pretty much giving up chomper best skill: Goop.
rly, the fire chomper, yea he the best varriant for chompers, but that because fire is the best counter for imp and hes mech, who do you play the most since you Complaining about him?
Well this was mostly because people were too busy worshiping BBQ Corn to know that Chomper is AMAZING when someone knows how to use him. (especially on defense) Like Citron, Chomper can shut down overconfident Super Brainz, Imps (even mechs), and Scientists with any of his abilities. But he was written off as completely worthless.
Since GW1, the best Chompers have been either the Flame or Power variants. (Although I was a fan of Armor too) It's a bit disappointing that they lost their "penetration" against the armored zombies - but they're still solid against groups of zombies. But they're certainly not OP.
@Boolerex hey i wouldnt mind it if it was the same player doing it over and over again i'll admit they have a good skill playing that variant. but out of all the variants the fire chomper is mostly used and they dont even bother trying to chomp you.
ive not even come across a chomp thing, toxic or electric chomper yet ive seen more disco chompers than a standard chomper.
