Put in some time with electro citron and I haven't found the sweet spot yet w/him yet...hopefully that'll change at some point because I really like the way he looks, especially with his shiny metal helmet I just unlocked.

The corn is stronger than the solider because people in beta complained he was weak. Corn abilities are over powered.
Are you kidding? Citron is big, and an easy target. If you have problems hitting him, then maybe you're just bad.

While Citron isn't OP, he is talking about when Citron is zipping around in ball form. He is indeed very hard to hit while in that state.
Corn is now the strongest Plant.
Citron is balanced. He's the most mobile character in the game, has the highest possible/overall hps, and has 2 forms of crowd control. He doesn't have the highest DPS out there, but when does a CC Tank in any game have the highest DPS?

Don't play Citron, but for Kenel corn:
for me, he got 2 problems,
the damage on his weapon is too low for a close quarter class (in comparaison to the foot soldier);
and the most boring thing is the placement of those weapons in regard to his body, they are too low, and when there is something in front of you, you can't hit your target, but in this situation, the foot soldier can hit the target.
"sorry for poor english"
To me that's the only real problem with corn. The weapon position is bad, however a minute increase in bullet velocity would be great too.
I don't think either are unpowered in the slightest.

I definitely think that Citron needs a buff. When you play as him, it seems like all you are good for is an easy target for zombies to unload into. You can't easily tank for your team because in one zombie is capable of taking down your shield and a grand majority of your health before they die, and then there is usually another zombie fairly close to them that can finish you off. Unless you have a team that is constantly focused on supporting you, your going to die quite a few times which doesn't make the character that much fun to play. Plus with the buff given to the imp, they have little to no problem mowing right through you. Also(don't know if this is a bug or intentional) a gravity grenade takes away your shield instantly. I find it particularly annoying to pop a shield, get hit with a grenade, live, then have to wait 30 secs(or more likely die) to get my weak shield back. Last thing before I end my rant, it's easier to survive a Turbo Twister with a Vampire Flower than it is with a full health/full shield Citron. If it's not obvious by now, I loved the class ever since it was announced and still play him regardless of how ridiculously weak of a tank he is. To answer the other question, Kernel Corn seems to be pretty well balanced with the provided arsenal. No problems there, but please for the love of god, buff Citron.

@VonFoxFire wrote:I'm okay with Citron but Corn feels under powered to me mostly because I feel he should play more like an all star than a soldier. The problem I believe with with Corn is he's literally the tallest plant in the game by a considerable margin presenting a giant target. Where a Soldier might go unnoticed and hide behind cover , corn pretty much has a bulls eye painted on him. If it weren't for his massive height he'd make a good soldier but I feel it hinders his performance considerably when he can't really hide behind cover.
But he compensates for being big by having great damage output capabilities.

I wouldn't say its great, it's probably on par with the damage output of a soldier

In normal mode,you're true,but at ball mode,he's actually kinda dodgy and can't be headshotted. Even more if he pop hyper.

That would be cool if you explain why you think he's UP instead of copy-pasting the same thing in every topic.
