How do I get pvz to work with an under 13 sub account.
I'm getting the dreaded error about a lost connection to ea's servers when doing anything on my son's account. My son has a sub account on PSN and a child account on origin. The two are not linked.
- No I cannot import friends on origin. They've removed that workaround.
- Yes, I've downloaded the FIFA demo, but the game will not allow my son to go online as he is under 13. I've disabled all game restrictions on the ps4. It is ea that won't allow it.
- Yes I've tried signing in on help.ea.com, but once again my son is to young for this to work.
- No, I will not commit fraud and lie about his age
What am I supposed to do here? This seems like a defect in the game's interface with ea's own servers.
Hey @TriG9
The ratings are slightly different. The not being able to play online under 13 years old is to comply with COPPA. The rating for the game content itself is done independently.
I understand this doesn't help you get in to play but I wanted to explain why they're different.
If you speak with one of our game advisers they can take a look into this to see if there's any way to get your son playing but I can't promise they'll be able to assist with this.
To contact an adviser please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the following link: http://help.ea.com/ (once there make sure that your country is correctly select in top left hand corner of Help.EA.com)
2. Make sure you are logged in (top right corner) and select 'Help with Game'
3. Find the affected game (if it's an account issue select Origin)
4. Select 'Contact Us' at the bottom right on the new page
5. Select your platform and then 'Next'
6. Select topic from the drop down menus, type in a short description of your issue and select 'Next'.
7. Select a contact option. Please note that available contact options do depend on your country settings and time of day. Thanks,
