How do I turn off/disable voice in PS4?

I can't find this for the life of me. Please help!!! I don't want people to hear everything going on on my end, thanks in advance for your responses...

    The way i see it you have two posibilities:

    1.Your headset should have an on/off switch for the mic.

    2.Disable the mic from the console menu. To do this go to PS4 main meniu /settings/devices/audio devices/microfone level and set it as low as possible.

    I don't know of any ingame option that could disable the VOIP in PvZ.

    The method which we’re sure will work no matter what headset you’re using is to simply go to the DualShock menu by doing a long press on the controller’s PS button. This will bring up the menu for all DualShock settings including volume controls, light bar brightness, and microphone volume.

    Go to Sound/Devices 

    There you have Mute All Microphones and Disable Game Chat Audio
