The exact error message is : the title Multiplayer error

You or a member of your group does not have the correct permissions to access online features.
I have gone through the account settings for my logged in user profile on the xbox and the content is set to unrestricted. I cannot find anywhere where the DOB or age gets set.
Based on that message there is a setting somewhere on your system for either you or the other persons account who is Split Screening with you which has a restriction against online play- as I said before this can be typical for accounts belonging to children.
I'm a PS4 owner myself so I can't walk you through this one, but if you can't find any information maybe a Xbox player will pop in and provide instructions.
