How to unlock new hereos?

Question

hey all i'm a new player and was wondering how you can unlock new heroes?

I started to do the tutorial but it was to easy and i didn't enjoy it, so i stopped playing the adventure trail thing and started to play ranked where i'm at level 21.
Still i don't have the heroes i would like to since i want to master the zombies i would like to have sneaky and tank class. So i would like to have the neptunus zombie girl.

from premium packs. you can actually clock on the little exclamation mark next to packs in the shop and see the drop tables.

so thats the only way you can get them? you can't unlock some by completing the story line or something?

well once you play the storyline/ladder for a little you will get a quest "win 20 games as plants" and "win 20 games a zombie" and the completion will give you to choose 1 out of 2 or 3 zombies, i don't remember. maybe even you get a 10 wins first for one hero and then 20 for the second. for the rest it is packs ☹️
