I call BS on today's Surprise Challenge

The Challenge starts with 4 Hot Dates in play, how then can more be played after that? Isn't a deck only supposed to have 4 of a card only?  Or is it fine for the AI to cheat?

  • On the “Twisted Rules” challenge, my zombie AI opponent cast two tricks on 1 brain through Forget-Me-Nuts; no super block was triggered.

Explain to me how this is possible and I’ll work on solving your riddle...

Did they have Zombology Teacher out? They reduce costs of tricks.

With forget me nuts and teacher the beer sum cancels so the trick will go back to its original cost. So it still isn't possible unless they had 2 teachers to 1 nut.

But this is possible others ways like conjuring a reduced cost trick or using HG superpower. My bet it is one of these.
  • 0+1=1; 1+1=2. A trick cannot cost less than zero..? What am I missing?

There were no teachers in play and no tricks were conjured.

My guess is PvZ done messed up. If you have, say, a flag zombie in play your tricks cost one less, and are displayed as -1 in your hand. I’m thinking the programming was too simple, the AI saw its tricks reduced by one at start of turn (the *twisted rules*), after factoring in Nuts, but forgetting to consider that the de facto cost of that trick was now -1, and then played it.

My best guess for you is Reincarnation..?

FYI, I gave up on doing the Surprise Challenge this past week, as it seemed like the AI pulled the winning card out of it's butt just when needed...
