I HATE THE AI "NEW" CLASSES

I have just played the new weekly mode. And two words...THE WORST. These classes are disgustedly powerful, they get obxnoxious armour buffs from NPC's and other teammates and they have insane abilities. I hate, hate, hate them. I just hope they never come to PvP in the state that they are in.

Firstly, their special attribute. Soooo annoying. The armour buffs from other wildflowers and tv heads is crazy. I found out you can block 45% of incoming damage with this attribute. You're literally taking only half the amount of damage and the buff is permanent so long as the requirements are their. tHeir DPS would seem OP, but with the armour buffs it's weak. Their first ability is really enjoyable. I love being able to flank games more easily, with the mentality of placing my pot/bucket in a sneaky place to evade enemy destruction. However, the dandelion and Yet Imp's are too powerful. They can do 100 damage, with insane mobility and an insane splash radius. Out of everything, this is the most annoying thing I've seen. And lastly, their 'Sap Trap' ability. TBH, it would seem like they'd be devestating in the hordes of enemies, but with the armour buffs it's pathetic. Alll in all, I enjoy these classes, but their armour seriously needs to be limitied and the buff needs to be reduced. Imagine a Co-Star Wizard with TV Head. Maximum amount of armour buffs they can receive is 65%. That is quite literally only receiving 1/4 damage of a plant primary. It's insane.

And one thing I'd like to not, for the devs to listen to. I have played games about 20 mins when the mode became live, and already saw Grandmaster 2's and Master players dominating with the class. PLs explain how they rank up so quickly. It must be an unfair hack, because they obtained all the upgrades and many players were disadvantaged because of this ☹️

    @Shadowphinx101 Sad to hear you dislike them so much. I've really enjoyed the new mode so far. In normal pvp they would cause problems, as you have explained.

    @benn1nat0r I probably should've renamed the title, but I don't hate them in terms of how they play, just how unfair and OP they are. I just know this will break the game like BB and Steam Blaster did, and for many will be a bigger reason to quit the game. It just feels like the longevity of the game is wearing out, and having these classes that are unbalanced doesn't help. So I enjoy them, but I don't think they'll play well in normal PvP.

    I wasn't even thinking about them being added to normal pvp yet.
    I was only referring to the new weekly mode in my reply.

    @Shadowphinx101 I agree, I dont really like it: the spawns are a neat idea but end up absolutely breaking the game by pushing people closer to the objective in a game where you can SPRINT (ps constantly replace it or you could die and be back at the first point), the plant grenades become win button in duels and zombie grenades might as well just be landmines with how much you just randomly find one and die around a corner or when backstepping, the bombers either run out of fuel, get gunned down immediately, or initiate Hiroshima again also yeti imp>dandelion by a mile.

    Also telling the difference between enemy players, bots, and spawnables is an absolute nightmare since the bots share the same names with spawnables and they all look alike.

    The buffs either lets team steam roll or get steam rolled and unless you actually manage to blow up some you might as well give up against a group.

    Is it anyone else but are the sound design and animations really off on these characters or is it just me? Also lag is a menace for me in this mode right now (39 ping btw) can popcap get something other than hamsters to power their servers.

    @Shadowphinx101 I don't actually think the armor buffs are annoying. I believe they add strategy to the mode, as you have to constantly chose between staying with your team or venturing off alone.
    Staying with your team gives you armor, but makes you vulnerable to the explosive attacks.
    On your own you'll run out of health quickly, but can make efforts to capture the point when your team has been taking out because they stayed together and were hit by yeti imp or dandelion.

    @stukapooka The animations seems aight. I totally agree with the ranking of drones lol. The damage is insanity, especially with Yeti Imp being so small and agile. It frustrates me soo much. And the armour buffs have to be the worst thing. Imagine a group of TV Heads against a Corn. Literally only doing 3 damage. I hope PopCap actually nerfs this. The drones seem really awkward to handle, idk if it's just me. And the 'Sap Traps' aren't nice to use and they are extremely difficult to inflict damage with. In Turf this is a nightmare. Only thing I like is their pot/bucket. I think this flanking strategy is the only thing I enjoy. Considering they are part of a new 'Swarm' class, and this is how the swarm classes will be played, they will be even worse than Support. This will have an even worse effect than bots in PvP tbh. I don't think this 'Swarm' role is a good idea, and even in normal PvP, these AI will still be OP. Get a couple of Wildflowers, a few sunflowers and there's nothing u can do. At least they don't get hard target. Btw pls fix this leveling exploit POPCAP.

    @benn1nat0r Yes, the idea seemed good at first. But the buff to the armour is too much. And you don't have to be that close to receive the buff btw. Also, u can still venture alone and receive the buff. As long as their is an AI within 1 mile of u, u receive the buff. It's stupid. I believe what you're saying is correct, but it doesn't make u vulnerable to explosive attacks. The armour is like a deflection shield. U just don't receive enough damage for the opponent to be able to vanquish u... well ever. Literally just makes u immortal imo. But that's my first impression. As long as PopCap adjusts them, then it's fine because it won't have scarred PvP.
