I have collected all 54 gnomes but the door behind the gnome statue isnt open

I have collected all 54 gnomes but the door behind the gnome statue isn't open, I've searched the forums for an hour now looking at everybody's issues similar to mine but haven't found one yet to answer why my door isn't open.
