8 years agoNice deck but how did you get 8 of these legends?? Super lucky? Super much gems? 4 mirror nuts isn’t that way too much ?

8 years agoI got lucky on day one. Instead of buying gems, I got a 60 pack and a 23. Then I got a dozen single packs. In the last two singles, I got my fourth Tricarrottops and my first Mondo Bronto.
I have four MirrorNut in because I don't have another forget me nuts, and I have been debating on whether to go 4 Sportacus(but now that when he's destroyed he doesn't hit for a final two I don't have a need for four). Thinking maybe another bounce or something like that. What do you think I should have instead? They are there for blocking plus direct damage purpose, and since forget me nuts are a one hit kill, its just extra damage capability from hitting sportacus, forget me nuts, or even extra card draw on planetof the grapes protecting admiral.
To be honest, I could stand to drop one...but then replace with what?
I'm not going to craft forget me nuts until they drop to 1000, or that would be what I want to do

I think there are several other viable decks for plants. Repeat-moss never gets old on captain and you can always go big with knuckles. these two will work in basicly every metagame with a few adjustments.
- 8 years agoYeah, bonus attack decks are still strong. They won't win you are unbalanced amount of games anymore, with there being so many viable zombie decks (looking at you bouncers), but you can still others through the ranks.
Zombies may have an easier path to victory this season, but that doesn't mean plants can't win their share with strategic play and some deck adjustments. Same rules as before apply, if you are constantly running into instances where you're drawing cards that you just don't like, change them out. Eventually you'll create a build that can handle many threats with ease.
Can't get upset my fellow plant players. While I still stand by my statement that clique peas were not OP, we did have the easier time last season. Turnabout is fair play.- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoI'm actually in agreement that clique peas were okay and at very least could have been just tweaked a bit instead of castrated, but I am happy with the flytraplanet change.
Plant heroes and even the ones who are not(I call the players who are basically one faction heroes, obviously you may play both sides but heroes definitely have a favourite and it will show) the important thing is to get creative and this is when it's the most fun(I believe that anyways) and make a couple decks and tweak out the weak until you see results.
I realize that the deck above has 8 new legendary, and I apologize for that. I'm not attempting to rub it in that I have them, but to show you it is possible to still hold your own.
I played that deck in league last couple days, and I did all of levels 42,45,45,48, and 2 stars of 49.
I was just sick of waiting for as long as I have been as zombie and then usually playing gold league(20-29). Although I have to admit that once I got to taco league, as zombie I was getting either taco or ultimate...but it would be a few minutes of waiting for each game, so I would play the Carrotena deck now and then and held my own against all sorts of decks. The Zombology/Viral Rustbolt deck gave me some trouble, but I also beat it a couple times as well.
Keep positive attitude and the rest will follow, and don't be afraid to try something different...plenty of times having a deck thats is completely unanticipated is all the advantage you need, since they may not be prepared to deal with whatever it may be. Other times it will help, but your game best be on point, cuz some of the decks that are nobrainers also may make a player complacent, and that's when you have a great chance to win, but don't want you to jump the gun.
I don't know if anyone will read all of my babbling, but one major point to take with you...try finding a deck that's comfortable for you and fun to play. If its a tedious deck but you win lots, it still doesn't work for a sustainable amount of time because you will tire quickly from the deck. And play and play it, and then play some more. This is why a fun deck is better, to know how the deck plays you're going to have to play with it a lot. A LOT.
