well the issue has happened again a few times but i think i know what the problem is...
when an error happens (the game says there was a problem with your game) you are suppossed to lose a star but you don't,
then after you win your next game instead of winning a star, you lose a star.
Okay, seems like if you get the game error "there is a problem with your game" it banks that -1 star loss no matter what. Even though it doesn't show it. So if you get 2 errors in a row the win 1 game. (with out streak bonus) then you would still get -1 star even with a win.
