Playing against Rose no matter how hopeless it is WILL make you a better player. I have been on countless sessions on Great White on zombie side usually with players making a grave effort to get the first garden. These players use the most uncanny and unique tactics to take down Rose. I know for certain my skill level has gone up immensely and I'm not talking about in-game level fighting a swarm of Roses.
Rose isn't as strong as she was before because the community has actually learned how to fight her even under these conditions now. She obviously needs some adjustments which I trust POPCAP to make, but also not rush and make her too weak.
"Coming up with uncanny strategies"
Exactly, notice how little effort rose has to put on anahilating everything and notice the teamwork, coordination and imagination a big group of people needs to handle them, no matter if this makes you a good player this should never be the case.
- Anonymous10 years agoI understand the frustration with rose and I avoid playing her in multiplayer because she feels cheap. I pretty much only play turf takeover in multilayer with 1-3 friends and as zombies we have more wins than loses even against large 6-8 rose teams. People mindlessly killing with a cheap broken class doesn't make them good at an objective based game and we roll them or deny the point so many times.
Does it need fixed? Of course it's a broken mechanic and it's not working as intended. Is it game breaking? Far from it and most matches since it came out that they were fixing it I've seen less and less big rose matches. Now the people that are rocking Master Roses, those are the a-holes.- Anonymous10 years ago
I leveled my rose to master in garden ops. Does that make me an a-hole?

Master Roses are a pain. Its normally the same Roses that take me out all the time. I like healing roles so I normally play Sunflower or Scientist. Too many times I'm healing my team mates and 2 or 3 Roses see that and then come around the side of the map and gang up. I'm lucky if I get killed 6 times by the same one. I haven't gotten Chemist yet but that is my goal. The only time that I do have success is by playing All Star as mentioned. I don't want to switch sides if I spawn in as Zombies because then I know that I would get more wins. In my opinion its not worth it to me screw over my team mates for a win. I never play Rose because it feels cheap and OP. I wish they would balance all the classes out to where you have a fair chance of winning. Maybe I'm asking to much. I'm not one to complain but its just frustrating that every match that I joined last night we got a loss as Zombies.

No and that is not what I said. People that are using master roses in Multiplayer, playing a broken character that you can't get experience on anymore in a, let me say it again, Multiplayer match is being an a-hole. I didn't even say anything about garden ops or leveling rose. Just people playing master rose in, what was it again, multiplayer.
