"Imp is so weak worst character" (He is very strong!)

Need I say more?

I have even seen people complain that Imp is weak after the final update. He is not. This screenshot is from Team Vanquish (both teams were half high rank and half lower rank. A High Rank Snapdragon was targeting me. There were a few Citrons, Chompers and Peashooters.

Before the update I was able to get top vanquishes with him, when everyone cried he is underpowered. Now he is just way too good with the Mech armor and sprinting, as well as the other changes made to him, in my opinion. Before I would get about 14 vanquishes with a streak of 6 or 7, now almost every time above 18 vanquishes with a higher streak. In this match I even got 22 with a streak of 21, despite the lobby having a lot of high ranks and there being all plants that can  quickly or insta-vanquish Imp.

    @benn1nat0r Yeah, he's a skill based char for sure, but that running mech is a death machine now.

    @Gormey Yes, he is very skill based, but with the tiny hit-box, bunny hopping and the Mech still being a (now upgraded) get out of jail free card ...
    I really dislike the character to be honest. He made me quit GW2. Bundling an extremely op character variant with the preorder was just wrong.
    I dislike him not because I get vanquished by imp mains a lot, but because I can score very high with him and see others dominating lobbies with him as well. So this isn't frustration and a scenario of "git gud", as can be seen in the screenshot.

    Don't get me wrong, this level of performance with him is very rare and there are other characters that, even with the "everyone is good" Meta, are way better (Engineer, Brainium Basher, Snapdragon).

    @benn1nat0rHe really is very good, I just think that if his old DPS 58 was involved he would be perfect, honestly I think that only 2 characters currently deserve a real BUFF for not fulfilling the expected, Space cadet and foot soldier, the Imp now deserves very little.

    @benn1nat0r Just a little observation I would like to make, the GW2 IMP is certainly broken, but this is due to the Z-mech having more than 150 DPS, which in BFN is only 80 DPS, 20% of armor, BFN is only 15%, missel madness being guided, and the normal Imp has 100 DPS, Gravity grenade occupying 5 continents, Impkata with a range of more than 15M, these are the factors that make him OP, in BFN he is much more fair and is not as extreme as your version of GW2.

    @benn1nat0r Hats off to you, I also refuse to use the cheap OP chars that I see a lot of max ranks crushing lobbies with...although to be honest in BFN I don't feel imp is OP so kudos to you for the 21 kill streak.

    Imp seems to be much better than he originally used to be, especially his Mech. His damage still seems to be quite luckster, however he definitely had a noticeable buff. Something I have not tried yet but noticed, because the ability refresh character upgrades have been buffed, you could probably use them (Refreshing Revive, Critical Blow, Combo) and Mech Hunter in order to get your Mech back really quickly. That seems really good. Also I find that he seems fairly decent at sniping.

    @gametrieuk I agree, GW2 Imp /Mech was way stronger. It ruined the game for me (at launch).

    @gametrieuk & @Gormey : As I tried to explain, I don't think he is op compared to characters like Brainium Basher, Snapdragon and Engineer. There are quite a few characters that can be more powerful. I just wanted to show that he isn't weak. I have seen many people (especially on reddit after the update was released) complain that imp is still "pathetically weak" and I just had to show he isn't 🙂.

    @benn1nat0r Putting the IMP as weak is something that doesn't make sense, it's just so good now that underestimating it is such a huge mistake.
