@EA_Shepard Hello Mr. Shepard! I am a longtime fan of PVZ: Battle For Neighborville and I would like to address an issue that hopefully you could tell the higher-ups and see if they can get it fixed. I’ve been trying to fix this for a few years now, but nobody else has ever seemed to help. If you could please read my whole message that would be greatly appreciated!
I have been having an issue on Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville since December of 2021. Basically, for the past 2 years, what happens is while I’m playing on the Xbox Series X (the newest Xbox) the game will randomly crash and it makes my entire Xbox lose audio even when I go into other games. Then if I keep playing the game it will eventually freeze entirely and I have to restart my Xbox Series X. This makes the game IMPOSSIBLE to play and I wanna be able to complete the game! I have already tried multiple fixes for this, like clearing my Alternate MAC address and clearing Blu Ray and Disc Space storage. The other thing I do is I always have a fast internet speed and a WIRED connection. So I know this is not an internet issue. I believe this is an issue due to the fact that Plants Vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville is no longer receiving updates and is not supported anymore, and Next Gen consoles (including the Xbox Series X) did NOT come out until AFTER the game stopped receiving updates, so they never optimized it. So I need someone to go and make the game optimized for next-gen consoles including the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the PS5 if you could contact them to make it possible. I’ve already read the EA Answers HQ and multiple people just like me are having the same problem. I think someone who works at EA needs to go and make the game optimized for Next-Gen consoles including the Xbox Series X and S, and the PS5. I chatted with someone on EA Help about this over the summer, and he told me he was going to let the workers at EA know about the issue so hopefully they could fix it. Well here we are MONTHS later and still nothing. So if you could PLEASE ask them to go in and fix something on that game, they can easily have someone go in and optimize Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville on Xbox Series X, S, and the PS5, so that me and many others can enjoy playing the game without interruption! What you need to do is have an EA official worker go in to the game files or Xbox system, apply a patch that addresses this Next-Gen issue, Optimize the game for Next-Gen, and then release the update for everyone on all consoles so that this issue does NOT happen anymore. I know it would make not just me, but other players having the same issue happy as well!
Thanks, C Pett
