Hello! I have been playing Plants vs Zombies since the first mobile game released and the shooter games since 2018. I am attempting to 100% complete GW2 and BfN, and the journey has been long so far, but fun. My take on the questions are here:
Which platform do you prefer to log into and why?
On the Xbox One for the most part - although in Battle for Neighborville, I have pivoted over to Switch because it is much more convenient. Occassionally, I will still play BfN on Xbox with friends. I still play GW2 on Xbox frequently since I can play in split-screen and with friends.
Plants or Zombies? You decide!
This is a hard one for sure - both are really cool! I would have to say plants by a little bit as Torchwood in GW2 and Acorn/Oak in BfN are great fun to play. I do really enjoy playing as the tanky characters. The Zombies are really cool and I probably enjoy Super Brainz and Scientist the most in general.
Which modes and maps are your favorites to battle in?
In GW2, Frosty Creek, Great White North and Time Park. Winter maps are generally some of my favourite maps of all time. For BfN, Goopy Gully, Tourist Trap and Daisy Drive. For the most part though, I enjoy all of the maps and do not dislike any of them.

I actually do not own any Plants vs Zombies merchandise unfortunately. I would like to buy some in future though since I really like the franchise as a whole. I hope to see a new shooter or updates to the current ones in future though.
