Hey @iluminatethesky . Thanks for the response. We are playing on the same Xbox. My son signs in, then I follow him so that when he goes into BFN, he's on the top of the split screen. We've also tried this where I sign in first and then he does. Nothing changes the ability to invite people. The line on the menu stays shaded for both of us. This has been going on for a couple of weeks since I started picking up the game regularly. Not problems of this kind on PvZ GW2, which we are still playing.
Thanks for the information.
When you play Solo, are either of you able to invite people?
I'm thinking it might be because you're both sharing the game and playing on the same Console.
But, let me see if I can still get some more information about this.
Thanks 🙂

I asked my son and he IS able to invite people when playing solo, not when we are playing together on the same console.

Thanks for clarifying, I'll pass this up to see if there's an issue and hopefully get a response soon.

Hi, thanks for the info. I think illuminate is right and this is related to game sharing, but I'd like to ask a couple of extra questions.
- Is the game digital? If so, is it "owned" on your Son's account?
- I assume it's not a factor, but can I check if both accounts are adult accounts with full privileges?
- So just to double check, when you log in solo can you invite without issue? You mentioned your son's account, but I want to check for yours too.
Thanks.

Hi, David.
Yes, it's digital. We got a pre-street version from doing the Alpha test for EA.
My son's account has limited privileges, mine has full. I can change to full if needed.
When either of us are logged in solo, we can invite other people.
I'm not overly concerned if this turns out to be a game sharing issue, but at least one of us should be able to invite people regardless of whether both of us are logged in on the same machine, wouldn't you think? They're his friends, so it won't bother ME if I can't invite, but it creates a problem if he tries to bring others into the game on particularly difficult challenges.
Thanks for looking into this.
