@GraveledStoopid That's horrible - I've been on the receiving end of some vile stuff myself in GW2 in recent years & even as an adult find it upsetting, so I'm really sorry for your son.
In GW2 I have a protective group of buddies who look out for me now, as reporting people has never seemed to resolve the problems. In BFN I don't have that support, but have pretty much given up PvP & had thought that was where the main nastiness was, but I've recently had similar abuse from "team-mates" in Ops & left a game because it made me feel intimidated (so how much worse would a nice young kid feel?) - I had hoped it was a rare one-off.
There definitely needs to be some kind of in-game resolution to this.

So sorry to hear your son had that experience.
This sounds awful... I have never had anything like that happen on PC but I presume that is because the message systems are different on PC?
No direct messaging like on Xbox and PS4?
And I never have the voip thingy on.
So glad as even as an adult that would surely kill the game dead for me ... I play for fun... full stop... negative experiences like that (as an adult) would finish the game for me. Despite knowing how "internet" behaviour can manifest such toxic behaviour it still can have a serious effect on those on the receiving end.
Can only imagine what effects this can have on younger players, especially those without the support and help of a parent/caregiving adult.

In Ops? Are you kidding me.... what on earth is wrong with folks that behave like this.- @asabaida I know, so sad how people behave sometimes.
So sad that there is a possibility to behave like that.
Another thing that should be worked out, but hey let's focus on selling rainbow stars first 😉
