Is the Garden Warfare series dead?

@Vinniebread The series is probably not going anywhere anytime soon, but might get the Skate treatment, in which they'll resurrect it in a decade when all of us have moved on from then. I don't want that to happen, but I can only predict from what the past has taught us. EA isn't known for having mercy on IP's that don't get them the dough; if it doesn't sell, say goodbye! But again, with PopCap still being a major component in EA's business & their impact on the mobile market, I'd say they're letting the franchise rest for a bit until they can make better games.

Will we get another Garden Warfare? Maybe, but won't come for awhile. Will the franchise be doomed with mobile games? Most likely not as monetization on them still works on the average consumer. But with PvZ 2 pushing ads in your face everytime you tap on the screen isn't making things better.
