Team swap is alive and well right now.

No change last I checked (hours ago, I couldn’t test this evening) and I had horrible issues in PvP - as bad as I’ve had yet.
I was fortunate my system actually recorded the frustrating part (usually hard for me to capture the footage I want most) and will share it tomorrow or when I have time to sit down and timestamp notes (many things cannot be seen with the blind eye until you know which second to frame by frame the issues).
Side note: This is odd timing: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/No-update-1-14-20/m-p/8651870#M35691 considering today’s delay in patch (assuming it’s been released or surely someone would’ve updated this thread)... 🤷🏼♂️🤞
EDIT: link repair

@spIash_damageYes, I'd noticed that the GW2 Town Hall event was running a longer length, January calendar hasn't been issued & Rux has missed the last 2 appointments!
I had assumed this was due to PopCap being busy on the update.
I was curious about the wording of the Twitter announcement as well - balancing "post-round"???Hmmm . . .
Didn't try BFN PvP myself last night, as I was in GW2 portal event but will try some today & report back.
ADDED: Just went & had a peek at the replies to Shaun's tweet & he replied to someone :
" . . . . it won't be perfect but should improve things a fair bit"

Ok, I've just had 3 games of turf.
Ist game: Was on Turning Point as a zombie in what started as a full lobby.
The zombies of course did the usual holding the plants at the bottleneck. A couple of minutes in, I checked teams & noticed plants were now a player down.
I tried swapping teams & got the usual "Are you sure you want to change teams? You may lose coins blah blah". I selected continue, but got message saying I couldn't because the other team had too many players . . . I double-checked & plants stll had 7 players to our 8.
I would've said my team had a larger amount of higher ranks as well - but I know that rank may not be used as a way to gauge balance in teams.
Game finished predictably & boringly at first base.
2nd game: Game started 8 zombies to 7 plants, zombies attacking, but we very quickly lost 2 plant players. A new player came in & they were added to plant side - whether that would've happened if there had been space on zombies, I can't tell. Lobby filled up & ended 2nd base.
3rd game: Found I'd been put on plants again, but plants were * still a player down. I don't know if I was moved because doing so meant that I was separated from a player who had just joined the lobby & was similarly ranked - the two of us were the highest ranks by a considerable margin.
That other player turned out to be a long-time nemesis from GW2 & by the time my team lost at the end of the game, I'd had enough of PvP experimenting!!! 😭😂
Would be interested in other people's observations!* added
