I requested these 4 so I definitely excited for it:
4. Hover-Goat 3000 - Hover-Goat 3000 always had a struggle with his damage output. Agree. I master this char on 1st account (before nerf) and park it after nerf on 2nd account. Going to get the goat smack some plants.
5. Torchwood - I almost master this guy even though being nerf. It still good enough but not that great as before.
3. Superhero - Hate the freezing effect where you can't move and use abilities. This is being severely abuse by zombie player, simply kick then spin to certain death. After this nerf, it will be more realistic. Let see if plants can use their abilities (hyper, husk hop) under turbo twister.
4. Reduce Freezing duration. This's good to reduce frustration during Yeti boss hunt.
Overall, I like the balancing act.
where is the pea gattling nerf and allstar imp punt nerf?
It sounds good overall to me. I never had a huge issue with the Torchwood nerf to be honest but seeing him get a slight boost is fine too. I really like the Captain Squawk buff as I feel his single shot snipe was too slow. I certainly like the frozen nerf too, it can be really obnoxious.
Edit: I need to go into more detail about Captain Squawk. As posted before the Flem Thrower is too weak compared to other Pirate shotgun self-defense modes. Concept and humor wise he's one of my favorite pirates but he's still weak overall. I do still like the buff to his snipe shot regardless of his still lackluster capabilities.
I find it hilarious that the Twister was so Op that they had to nerf it multiple times.
And the Gravity Grenade should be ok with 2.5 now, But it still needs a cooldown nerf. So people can use it less.
And while we are at nerfs. The classic Pea Gatling should get a long range nerf. Its good to deal with Mechs, but people just spam it too much at long range sometimes.
And Armor Chomper still needs his HP back from that pointless nerf.
We will see how this patch turns out. At least they did not directly nerf the Goalie Star.
