HI there. I have just paid $6.99 to access the GW2 game. The keyboard does not respond in the game. Works in everything else. Have to wade through the long intro sequence twice and then cannot do anything when the first bit starts with the sunflower. Mouse doesnt respond either. I want a refund!
Someone else was having this issue here, and seems to have found a solution. Perhaps try this?

It works, some of the time.
I have a Intel/Radeon combo instead of Nvidia, I got it to work once doing this method, I alt tabed out, did it, and it worked. But, after shutting the game down, it wouldn't work anymore. Even alt tabbed, reduced settings, set it, then increased it back to max, and still a no go.
Another big problem is, that messing with the drivers can somehow make EA think that you're accessing the game from multiple computers and can lock you out. I've now been locked out for over 12 hours with it telling me to try again later.
Ok, it worked for me. My laptop uses AMD instead of NIVIDIA, and what I did was exactly the same. I went to AMD control panel and put in use the game using AMD and it worked. I also told a lot people about this and they accepted my solution.

Try this: right click on the desktop and go into nvidia control panel. From there go to manage 3D settings tab and change both the global and program settings. In the programs drop down choose PvZ and under that change the preferred graphics processor from auto to high performance gpu and hit apply. I think NIVIDIA is still not using itself to open the game..... If this still doesn't work sorry i cannot help. But good luck!!
