This has been dreadful on Ops all weekend. Lag, disconnections, crashes. Even when it's telling me my shots are hitting, it still takes a ridiculous amount to kill a simple browncoat or weed.
Corn is suffering the most. The game falls to bits when it gets busy and his abilities just don't work. But every character is suffering and this is every match. Some worse than others but none acceptable. Crazy difficulty is now finally genuinely crazy, but not for the right reasons... When you try to escape to safety, the game just rubber bands you back into the mire!
And it's not my connection or anything at my end because Turf Takeover is running fine (well, it might crash here and there but no abnormal lag issues).
Even the backyard single player with AI is stuttering post patch.
My son loves to just run around in the backyard and mess around but it stutters frequently and was not happening pre-patch.
Online matches are now often unplayable, the high ping players destroy everyone else due to all their lag compensation.
Please fix.
The input lag is literally killing me during matches. Today I was playing quite a bit as chomper, and had to press 4 or so times before it registered to burrow, by then I was hit so many times I dies just as I was going under.
Don't bother selecting Chomper until he's fixed really, unless like me you just love him regardless of how difficult he is to play with the bugs.
Coupled with the imbalance and power zombies have its just going to make you wanna punch a wall.
Yes, I've noticed the problems after the patch as well, which is why further balancing (in terms of buffing and nerfing characters) isn't a good idea until the core issues are fixed.
@Zaheen1337 Even though Chomper is 1 of the 2 characters I love playing as most from GW1, I actually hadn't played much as him on this game since launch, because I'll pick one character from the plants and one from the zombies, and only play with them until I max them out. I hadn't gotten to a chomper variant until now. So these past few days were really my first good test with him. And even with the issues I have with him versus Brainz I was still able to play him well enough to come in first many times on my team, even though we almost always lost.
But yeah, I love being a sneaky little chomper, I pretty much owned any match as him in GW1! 😃
The hits not registering is a real issue. Like I would hit an opponent with two charged shots from electro citron but then I try to finish them off, the shot hits but they don't die. They turn to me and I fire like crazy trying to kill them but no dice. It's gotten really annoying. It even happens with the scientist up close so I know it's not my aim.
