I just bought PVZ GW for XBox One yesterday and the game is pretty much unplayable. I've tried playing split-screen and solo and after about 6 waves all the zombies go invisible and don't attack or suicide themselves. One map (with the pirate ship) the zombies were spawning and dieing shortly after without me or my co-op player doing anything and no plants were planted. There is one level where I spawn under the terrain and just free fall until I get text that says I'm out of bounds and it kills me; re-spawn under the terrain and same thing. This is very frustrating as I can't complete any of the maps or advance the game at all ☹️ I've tried rebooting the Xbox and reloading the game and same results (firing the game up, not uninstalling and re-installing; I haven't tried this yet because I've seen others haven't had any success with this)
I'm located in Ontario Canada and I'm pretty sure my console is set to that. Tomorrow I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the game just as something else to rule out. Not sure if this helps but more refined details steps of what happened was that I turned my console on (which I haven't in several months) and it did a 1.5 GB download patch for the XBOX. Then put the game in, started the install, while it was installing I was playing around with the minigame. I can't remember if it had to download an update; Once installed went straight into split screen co-op, both of us selected peashooter and the rest of the details are mentioned in my previous post
