@TheSprinter85The problem with not selling it after the event is that it locks out any future players that start the game after next month. However, purchasing with coins (even if it was a high amount) would be a fair solution. If people need to be one of the first to get it, they can buy rainbow stars to purchase bulbs to get it as soon as possible. Then after the event, people that could wait for it and new players could purchase it with coins from playing the game.
Edit - I was actually hoping for quests for these sorts of things. Like mini gnome trials.
- 6 years ago@Meadoz I didn't even consider them changing how many bulbs we need for each map. It would be interesting to keep track of . . .
What's funny is that in the stream they said that 300 stars was less than what was earnable each month. I haven't been keeping track of that either but it doesn't sound right. Anyone have the numbers from previous months for either of these things?- TheSprinter856 years agoHero
@TLEsquire Fair enough, you don't want players who are new or just don't have the time to completely miss out, it would be a sad missed opportunity, and if you only have a while after the festival to get this legendary upgrade, it doesn't pose much trouble, does it?

Anyone have the numbers from previous months for either of these things? You get 270 rainbow stars ⭐ a month, assuming the following things:
- You don't buy any for any reason.
- You get every one of the 5 stacks of 30 rainbow stars from the festival.
- There are 4 weekly events in the month, and you complete all the weekly challenges from each one! It is however, possible, because of the days in a month, that you can get 5 sets of rainbow stars from weekly challenges!
As of for Prize Bulbs, you used to have to earn 182 to complete the festival, but from February onward, I think this number will be increased slightly, according to what was shown in the livestream! 🤓
Da da! Anyway, that's all I have to say for now!

@TheSprinter85Thanks for letting me borrow your memory lol. It was easy to remember the possible weekly amounts (I thought lol) but I never paid attention to the actual amounts in the map or the number of bulbs needed to complete each map so far. To do things the simple way, (52 weeks x 40 stars) + (12 months x 150 stars) equals 3,880 stars a year. Divide by 12 and we see 323 stars possible per month. Meaning there are more than 300 stars available each month on average. This also means you can buy 3.88 legendary costumes each year if you grab every star available and spend them on nothing else (barring prices going up).
I just did a count on this months map (three times) and ended up with 178 bulbs (unless I missed something, which is totally possible) but I'm not sure about previous months. I think it's an interesting thing to keep track of. Maybe someone posted or kept pics of the previous maps. When I get some time I will ask my very knowledgeable friend Google for some pics or vids.
Thank you for indulging my nerdiness. This idea got stuck in my brain and now I NEED to know 😋Edit - quick look at past maps on YouTube showed me 182 bulbs for Lawn of Doom and 178 bulbs for Feastivus. So if my quick adds were right they went down a little after that first month? Of course there were no stars in the Doom map but Feastivus also had the 150 like this month.
Edit 2 - I think the weekly amount is 40, not 30 so that messes up all the math. Fixed.
