Lost progress PvZ 1

Hello, I was playing Plants vs. Zombies FREE on Android (Samsung), and my fully completed game progress disappeared overnight. The game started from the tutorial as if I had never played before, with no error message. My Google Play Games achievements are still there, but I have already reinstalled the game and cannot find a backup or old save file. Is there any way to recover my lost progress? Thank you.
