Chomper still gonna be the worst character in the game. Simply because it takes WAY too long to swallow an opponent, even with mastication (and that's an essential talent).. His hit box is massive and his health is sub par for a melee character. He's slow and clunky. He's just all around bad. Which is a shame because chomper was my favorite in gw1//2
Also why can't you regen health underground? that's silly.
@ShinobicapI agree, for all the mechanics that make this game faster, Chomper and Burrow specifically are too slow. It just takes to long to digest and Mastication usually isnt worth it.
But, even if he is the worst plant, he will still be very usable.
Chomper regenerating hp in Burrow would be cheesy, since its basically an Invincibility tool. It also should not happen during Arcane Enigma or Outta fight.
Chomper is not meant to be played for his one ability, im glad they nerfed his burrow, he is meant to be played as ambush with his regular bite and grody goop. I play him as ambush and get 2.5 kd on average. His burrow is meant as a 1v1 final resort, not as a playstyle.
I also really miss his ability to go silent and not make noise when you stop moving. He was the first character I mastered in BfN because I love playing as him, but man was he nerfed into oblivion.
