March Update and Battle Arena Ranked Discussion
This is a fixed version of my previous post on this subject. The post got taken down for spam after I edited it too much, so I apologize to everyone who replied previously.
I know that the update isn’t technically live yet, but I wanted to get this thread started since the notes are published in the game’s news board. The most prominent changes are as follows:
Chomper’s Burrow hit detection improved
Kernel Corn’s Butter Beacon now has increased duration
Night Cap’s Upgrades Speed (Parkour, assumedly) reduced
Snapdragon’s Flame Blower range reduced
Acorn Passengers gain “Shield Break” ability
Rose’s Arcane Enigma has faster refresh time when buffing allies
Foot Soldier’s Super Stink Cloud has shorter duration
Imp’s Gravity Grenade can no longer travel through shields
Super Brainz is more “durable” (more health?)
Space Cadet and Station are less “durable” (less health?) and deal less damage
Electric Slide’s Boogie Bolt damage and speed reduced
Sunflower healing capabilities decreased
Scientist healing capabilities increased
Overhealth now dissipates over time
Alongside this, we have a new Battle Arena map and variations to the old and new one (hot cheese, pink ooze, and water) for diversity in the new ranked mode. Rose gets a new legendary upgrade in April for the Springening Prize Map, and an unknown zombie gets a legendary upgrade in May. Both upgrades will be available in Rux during the following month (May and June respectively).
Battle Arena Ranked rewards currently include Rainbow Stars, and Rux will have a new “Personal Spotlight” feature. This will help the gain rate of Rainbow Stars for all players.
Lots of good stuff in this update, let’s see how it pans out when it goes live. What do you all think?
