Mount Steep Battle Chest 3 Bonus Objective

@Sammichu  I have not done this one yet, but I read what you said! Vanquishing a Z-mech can be difficult, let alone 3. Here are some tips I can and will give you, for if you have not already tried them:

• Peashooter can help a lot, because of the Pea Gatling, charge the Pea Gatling, hunt for a Z-mech, and hit him with what you've got!
• I'd say Kernel Corn is also good, because of his damaging abilities and rapid-fire primary weapon.
• Citron would also be decent because of his stun (which stuns Z-mechs for longer), his navel laser can do a lot of damage, his spin dash is good for getting closer to the mech quickly or doing some decent damage to him, and his sprint is the fastest in game (and is unaffected by sprinting nerf) getting you around and to a Z-mech quicker without other enemies slowing you down.
• Rose because of aim bot and her Jinx!
• Chomper as you do a lot of damage when up close, have the option to shoot, burrow to get closer, and grody goop to negate its abilities!
• Snapdragon can help, especially at close range. Swoop slam can be used to get closer! Your abilities can all weaken the mech!
• Acorn and Oak, Acorn has speed and a dash, trap and a fast-firing primary, Oak has high damage, damaging abilities and a lot of health you can tank (especially with hardened upgrade).

Hopefully some of those tips could help you!

@Sammichu  If you were using an attack character, would the Vampiric or Low Life upgrade help you in any way, shape or form? Same with defense characters with the "Health Regeneration" upgrades?🤔

@Sammichu  It’s not a matter of skill but more observing the challenge itself.

For the Mechs, you need to avoid killing Imps at all costs.  I started to make videos for ya but got Mechs easily with Corn and Sunflower as soon as I realized not to kill Imps as much.  Also be mindful shared vanquishes don’t seem to count?

I know you got the challenge complete but believe it would be a bittersweet sense of relief to know how easily you could beat it, if you literally tried less (at least you wouldn’t question your skill and instead realize the structure of the match is counterproductive to a winning team finding many Mechs).

A big part of the issue is the timing of the Z-Mechs. It’s been awhile since I did this challenge  but I do remember that that the AI Imps still need to observe the opening cool down for the Mech so there’s a good minute or so before the first one can even be called and I remember pretty much all the Mechs being called pretty much simultaneously by the AI.

I think for most games this initial burst of Mechs is almost your only chance to score your vanquishes - at least if I’m remembering by experience correctly.

@realitysquared  There is no initial burst of mechs for me, at most I saw 2 mechs at once, and trying to 1v2 some Z-Mechs isn't an easy thing to do.

@spIash_damage  Having a video guide would certainly be helpful, I don't need it (I mentioned before that I got it done somehow) but I'm sure a lot of other people who are currently going through mount steep would appreciate it.
