Multiple accounts on the same Nintendo Switch

I would like EA to inform me of their timeline to have multiple nintendo accounts on the same switch be linked to multiple EA accounts.

I have two boys and one switch.

Currently they need to play on my profile to play online, which will only result in all out war when one of them spends coins on something the other was saving them for...

I respectfully ask that this be remedied as soon as possible

  • @Donoraffe Apologies for the confusion, but you can use multiple EA Accounts. The EA Account is not tied to the switch but the Nintendo account currently being used. In order to use a different one, when you first select the game to launch, it should ask which 'user' to play with, If the users are tied to separate Nintendo accounts they will connect to their own EA Accounts.

If you make a new user, when you launch the game with the user it will first ask to link or make a Nintendo account to link the user too. After if the Nintendo account is not already tied to an EA Account it will have you link or make a new EA Account to link it to. This will run separately from other accounts you may have on the switch.

I would recommend making sure the Nintendo accounts are not connected to the same EA Account, if so you may need to reach out to an EA Advisor to see what may be done about this, Also in case this has happened I would check to make sure the users on the switch have not bee linked to the same Nintendo Account.

@Donoraffe To confirm are you having issues adding multiple Nintendo accounts to the switch or are you seeing them already linked to an EA Account?
  • @EA_Illium No I am ok with adding accounts on my switch, I am just referring to the fact that now I can only have 1 EA account linked PER SWITCH... very limiting and should be looked at to be changed. As stated, 2 boys and myself all will likely want to play the game. Seems crazy that I cannot link their EA accounts to their Nintendo accounts on that switch to allow them to play online without buying another switch and another copy of the game...
