When I intitially found out about GW I was super excited to know it would be coming to the PC. Then I read that it was going to be tailored for the PC which I was happy to hear about. So thinking that I plopped down the cash for my fiance and I to play.
I enjoyed the game at first, but then all the damn mute mute mute muting constantly has put a bad taste in my mouth. We're both thinking of getting a refund at this point. I don't see how this game was tailored or worked on exclusively for PC players. That's just rediculous. I play on a gaming laptop, and I turned off my mic's so I wouldn't cause any issues for anyone. I don't want to key up on accident (or all the time) and cause someone pain or irritation because they have to listen to me. I personally won't use vent or Skype or anything like that because of the sound issues with this game.
To have to tab all the damn time to mute a bunch of people who don't have the know-how or decency to shut off their mics is ludicrious. And BTW, I've heard some very vulgar and explicit things coming over from people's mics here and there. Until someone started yelling for them to shut if off they didn't even know they were being heard. It hasn't happened often but often enough. Do people really want their children to listen to such things? Hell no. EA you should be ashamed of yourselves. Fix this problem immediately.
