I like the sound of a limit to heals with a meter. Instead of a cd I think it should regen kinda like shields do. If u ain't healing it should regen.
I dont like the sound of all your other nerfs though sorry. I'm pretty sure the whole reason why the healers are slightly overtuned is because they aren't popular picks. Yes, Sunflower and Scientist are very good and hard to deal with, but noone plays them. I rarely ever catch people playing the characters, and when I do most of the time the people aren't even that good with them. nerfing damage is not the way to go for sunflower imo. gutting the dmg of supports even further might put people off trying them out completely.
If we want to nerf both sunflower's dmg and healing they should at least give her 110 hp back so she doesnt get popped by everything.
I can basically kill any plant 1on1 with the scientist. Even with the nerf to the primary a patch or 2 ago. The sun flower does not out damage the scientist.
With the sun flower,I can hold my own but I am always thinking about an exit plan. The mentalities are much different compared with the scientist. But I'll admit the sun flower is MUCH easier to use.
You do have some very interesting concepts tho. Just, I agree with @chogath_player, you are basically nerfing the sun flower to the ground so that in the off chance you go against a decent sun flower, that she won't survive the way she does.
The changes I would recommend is a slight decrease in rate of healing of her heal beam. Or a slight decrease of healing per star in sunny side up. Or maybe have 2 instead of 3 sunny side ups. That's probably all im willing to do.
I am curious how you would balance out night cap and the space station.
