@The4DAdvocate The spawnables that can actually have a major effect is the Doom Shroom or the Explody Bot. They are the only ones I've noticed which actually have a significant impact on the game (I got a double kill with a doom-shroom once). The other bots/pots and spawn able weeds and browncoats seem to have a much more minor effect, and are more annoying to deal with than anything else, but have minor impact on the game.
Spawnables are not supposed to have a major impact on the game, but most of them are almost worthless and there's no point ever using. Most of them should be buffed so they're actually worth using whenever you can pull them out.
But luckily, most of them are still quite usable in Garden and Graveyard Ops, even if it does mean they are easily vanquished. The Dr. Heals still isn't very effective though, which is annoying considering it was in GW2.
The only real purpose spawnables and pots/bots have in PvP is to gain XP from doing so for levelling up and prize bulb purposes (synergises well with the "Levelling Up" upgrade).
Hopefully they get looked at and buffed at some point! 🤞
I haven't given much thought to spawnables in this game, but now that I think about it, I do miss the old system, because it gave you something else to spend your coins on (which is needed now) but I also understand the cool-down system because otherwise people could spam doom shrooms XD
