"FAILED TO RETRIEVE PATCH STATUS."

I played about 3 days ago for around 1 hour. Today I tried to log in to play with my girlfriend and the following error appeared: FAILED TO RETRIEVE PATCH STATUS.

 

I watched some videos and they say to press OK and then No, but in my case when I click OK it just tries to reconnect and the same message appears again.

 

I have already tried uninstalling PVZ GW2 and the EA app, restarted my PC, cleared the cache, verified the game files, and tried almost everything. Can someone please help me?

    But if EA were down, everyone would be having trouble accessing it, and my girlfriend was able to access it without any problems.

    It's been down for everyone. Think they're trying to fix the hacking problems but game is crashing now so the patch clearly didnt work as intended lol
