Just nailed crazy again with splash damage, we tried with pair scientist did anchor but it's very hard to survive there so we switch the strategy, toxic brains did the anchor while astronaut scientist heals each other and attack guardian from distance. It takes longer time but it's guaranteed success.
Another note is don't put the pot that shoot to sky and attack squash. It will invite the squash go upstair.
Candy time, one toxic brain and pair with scientist get a head start so can quickly kill the candy holder, and when sugar rush, did the same thing to get a head start, but it's just optimization. Anyway, you should able to melt the squash in 3 rounds Max (2 rounds is possible if the squash is really close by).
Note:
If you want to nail crazy in 2 rounds, the candy holder is a scientist (risky) then when about sugar rush, both toxic brains park near squash then start the party early.

4 toxic brains.
There are plenty of combinations that can work. Like i remember this random team with me as Z7, an Astronaut, Paleo and a regular Soldier who beat Crazy. One of the Scientists even had the Heal Station and not the beam.
With the Heal Station for example you can camp at the anchor, but instead of placing a Dr. Heals use something else like a Loudmouth Bot as support.
Tackle Shields from the All-Star are also extremely useful. By placing them to block the corner directly at the stairs, two All-Stars can use crossfire to pick off the plants attacking the shields.
Generally mechs also deal massive damage to the Squash. I wonder how much health 3 of them can take in one Rush as i had a match where we literally took 2/3 of his health with only 1 mech.
