Finally here, mystery portal event, Party time with party character and low gravity.

It's like they just can never learn about these portals and party characters, Incredible.
Figures, they finally get an awesome mix mode...Team Vanquish that isn't ruined by super speed and it doesn't work...either the game never opens or you finally get in a game and it lags out. If only EA was big enough to spend money to fix their servers...oh wait a minute.
2nd game lagging out, and I checked my task manager...it maxes out the video card GPU to 100%. Not sure if newer better cards are immune to this or not, but I've had two perfect games and 2 lagged out games.
I'm going to try turning all my video settings down to see if it fixes it.
I set all my in game video settings to low and it fixed the lagging out issue...FYI for other folks having this problem on PC. Once this party mix mode is done you can set it back to ultra like I had it.

I got about 10 games in and then lagged out with GPU so it helps but doesn't stop it.
GW2 has not received a version update for a year. An immediate version update to GW2 will help it work better in areas like party characters in the current super mix mode for example. If there's no version update performed before the super mix event closes, there will be a lot of bad tastes in our mouths. But given how full EA's and PopCap's hands are, it's unlikely.
I know they have discontinued new DLC but that is not an excuse to discontinue maintenance. There should not be these kinds of problems going unsolved less than two years after the game's launch. Why would I sink another 700+ hours in GW3 if it will be in this state not even two years after it is released?
