Need advice
Ever since Trouble in Zombopolis came out I have been playing Turf Takeover day and night and even still I haven't gotten a single Legendary Character piece.
Is there any better way to earn coins ...

There is! You buy the coins! But screw that right? Other then that you just gotta grind games and promote characters for the most coins. Chests tend to give out quite a bit and the multiplayer quests give out coins also, albeit only 5k at a time(Usually).

Yeah, I'm not paying 50 bucks for a million coins. And I already got all the coins you can from the backyard battleground from chests, golden gnome quest, and snowglobe quest.
Setup a (solo) multiplayer portal with zero opponents (both teams) and craaazy difficulty... It's a bit boring but will generate coins without having to do very much...
Also, make sure you have the 2X multiplier. Every level you go up, you get 20,000 coins.
