Need advice
Ever since Trouble in Zombopolis came out I have been playing Turf Takeover day and night and even still I haven't gotten a single Legendary Character piece.
Is there any better way to earn coins ...

You may want to look into Garden/ Graveyard Ops; the 4 person co-op mode. Depending on your performance and what variables the game throws at you during the 10 round set you can easily earn an average of 15-20k each session, sometimes more.
If you're good at Infinity Time, or can partner with someone who is, then you can walk away from a session of that with better than 30k in coins if you can get up towards Wave 35 or beyond.
