Need Help with Save Data and Multiple Accouts

Okay, here's what happened: My son has been playing Plants vs. Zombies 2: Garden Warfare 2 on my Origin account.  Well, he wanted to play together in multiplayer so I made him his own Origin account...

    You can't transfer anything in this game from one account to another.

I found the location of the local save files, but copying them from one computer to another doesn't do the trick.  I assume this has something to do with the cloud based saves?  But when I disable cloud saves and copy the data over, it still doesn't work.
