Nerf Husk hop please

At this point, asking for anything on the plants side to be nerfed is humorous. That is all.

Don't stand in front of, or too close to a Kernel and you'll be fine. Of all the things that do need to be nerfed 99% of them being on the zombies side the corn's husk hop isn't one of them

because HUSK HOP CAN KILL A SCIENTIST INSTANTLY.

Ummm, you just made a case for why a corn nerf should never happen!

What do you mean @tristkiss? I thought only the zombies side were allowed to get vanquishes... Husk Hop completely unbalances the game. I mean, seriously, the plants team can only get a total of 50 vanquishes a game, while Electro Brainz gets 50 by himself. We need to have Husk Hop, Chili Bean Bomb, Burrow, and Rainbow Heal all nerfed. (And insert any other useful plant attack here.)

If you want to play the compare game, sure, soldier doesn't have an attacking high jump, but let's do some comparing to a few other classes.

Chomper should get a long distance laser, as well as a spinning attack that decreases his damage.

Sunflower should get a shotgun, a warp, and a grenade

Cactus should get a shotgun and a cactus bomb.

etc. etc.

Don't take away few the only useful moves from an already rundown plant squad.

The ONLY thing about Husk Hop that needs changing - is it being able to completely ignore the damage resist on Deadbeard's barrel blast. (And probably any armor) Sure, Shuck Shot or a Chili Bean Bomb can do the same thing - but those attacks are meant to annihilate people with explosive fervor.

You're jumping in the air and firing your cobs below you. Normally, those shots would do far less damage if they weren't tied to a stylish ability. NOTHING has changed aside from the angle of the shots.

It makes sense from a development standpoint, seeing as its an ability rather than an attack. But it really shouldn't kill a full hp barreled Deadbeard in less than a second when the barrel is supposed to protect you from damage.

It's one of these "my class has to be able to kill anything"-demands again. Which of course is a fallacy.

If Husk Hop poses a significant threat to a Scientist, then the Scientist has to adapt. Either by staying away from Corns or ways to minimize risk.

Husk Hop is a great counter to Scientists and that is why it has to stay that way.

And besides: the Soldier can fire a ZPG mid-air, or double jump, thanks to his mobility advantage.

I disagree there, the barrel should be nerfed period. Poor little Pea and Flowers can't do anything once that thing is lit.

Imagine wrapping an exploding walnut around the cactus that explodes for 120 damage whenever he chooses, the iron maiden one at that? He should get that actually, to balance things out.

Clearly you're supporting the wrong side with that name, but as @NicTheGOAT has quite rightly pointed out, unless plants team get all the crazy BS abilities zombies have then nothing on the plants needs nerfing. Deal with it 8)

Pro Tip: Don't stand still. 

The damage on it is fine, they just need to adjust the range of the explosions imo. But the skill that needs a nerf the most on corn is the bigger butter, that thing is so much more effective than the regular version and is a paid skill.
