Super Brainz and 80's Action Hero both are reasonable counters. Rocket ride demolishes a group of Nightcaps, and Super Brainz's full charge punch one-shot acorns and Night caps. A one-two from Super Brainz also kills a Nightcap while doing AOE damage. Yes, I think Nightcap's shadow dome needs a nerf, but if you know how to play Super Brainz or Action Hero, Nightcaps shouldn't be a problem.
80's Action Hero can't one shot her, a fully charged shot only does 65 damage from what I've seen. Super Brainz is big target and takes a little while to get the punch to do 80 damage and the little annoying * probably used the Fung Fu while you were charging it so you're * out of luck since she's literally invisible while using Fung Fu for the exception of the small chage time at the beggining. Plus, with all her mobility and her small sized hitbox, it's very hard to actually hit the shots with how wonky the game feels compared to the last FPS games. Don't get me wrong it's a great game and I'm * loving it but a single Nightcap can ruin the experience. Same goes for Impkata. Also, why does it feel like I have to shoot people like more than 30 hp in order to kill them when their health bar is clearly at 1? Is it just me? So in short heres what I think they should do: Nerf Engineer, specifically his stun which lasts waaaay too long, Nightcap and Acorn, specfically Oak since you can * use him again with no timer on him. Also, Buff Corn but not so much they'll * up again.
Everyone talking about "this zombie can counter NC..." just stop. 1V1, it's possible, but there are NEVER just 1 NC on the plant team. As stated, it's only getting worse and I've seen plant teams today with 7+ NC on them. There is NO COUNTER for that. The developers need to NERF NC. Yes, buffs to the zombies are needed, but the main way to take care of this BROKEN GAME is to primarily NERF NC. Because if you buff the zombies to the point of it being a fair fight against NC, then the zombies will be too OP against the other plants.
