I thought about posting these ideas in there but I thought that topic was specifically about character variants. The idea behind this topic was more about new abilities usable on existing characters to give new reasons to play old characters.

If it's new abilities then, I think Chomper should get a spike weed upgrade to the rock version. It would deal a bit more damage, and last for 2 snares unless destroyed.
