New Character Class ideas...
For those that don't know, the character classes are peashooter, cactus, sunflower, engineer, foot soldier, etc.
Variants are Camo Ranger, Hockey Star, etc.

What about a sapling class. Then it can use a skill to turn into a tree (like an imp)
A mushroom with a shotgun attack would be awesome.
I feel like a gargoyle or zombie dog would be insane but i have no clue how they would work.

I was thinking of variants like...
Fume Shroom - Short Range attacks with toxic
Doom Shroom - Short Range explosion attack in all directions with long recharge on full damage attack.
Scaredy Shroom - long range attack with recoil that increases as zombies get closer
Sun Shroom - fire attacks where damage on zombies drops health stars
Ice Shroom - ice attacks that freeze the player in place
Goop Shroom - goop attacks that gradually slow down the player
