To me, it's not the difficulty so much as the randomness. If it were simply a matter of learning how a deck played and getting used to it, I'd be happy. Instead, we get terrible match-ups that are only possible to beat when the AI draws poorly and you draw extremely well. Extremely unlikely draws should be a way you occasionally lose a game, not the only way to occasionally win.

I agree. But if the match ups weren't purposely rigged so heavily, perhaps it wouldn't be so based on luck. I've missed daily challenges in the past, but this has been the first one I've actually tried and failed to complete.

I failed to complete Friday's challenge, the first one I've ever failed that I had time to play.
Another problem with the challenges is that the benefit of doing them is pretty minimal. Since they made the event cards so easy to get (they used to cost a lot more tickets, for those that weren't around back then) you don't need the challenges for ticket boosts so the only real reason to do them is for 1 free pack if you finish all 7 of them and frankly, it's not worth it.
So... easy solution! Ignore the daily challenges.
