New Daily Challenges showing as completed

Product: Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 4 Pro

In what game mode did the bug occur? Main Hub
Summarize your bug Daily challenges showing up as completed
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Zero clue. Complete daily challenges and wait for new ones?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

They just show up as being completed and re-rolling repeats the same thing. I tried to do the challenges anyways, but I simply cannot complete them.

Also, restarting game does not fix this issue.

  • Okay, it fixed itself just now. I went in and started the challenge and boom, instant bulbs. Dont know if they fixed my game with my gamertag provided, but it works for me now at least. Thank you

So both of my new challenges started as complete. But no matter how many enemies i vanquish there as Snapdragon it never gives a bulb, whereas the other challenge as 80s Action gave me one right after i vanquished a single hero.

I'm still having this problem as of 11/15/19 at 9:00 pm central time. The food fight event is half over and people can't participate in it because of this bug. It's a bummer. I really wanted that final prize bulb suit for the night cap but that won't happen.

  • I'm also receiving this bug, it still occurs, but when I reroll a challenge I get a new one that displays correctly. The other challenge still shows up as complete though, and if I track the challenge it will randomly complete upon, for example, vanquishing a cone head. Not sure if the number of coneheads was counted or if it just completed on a random conehead vanquish.
    Thank you,
